What this notice covers

This notice covers the public Aavison Education website, its enquiry form, and contact by email or telephone. The public site does not offer learner accounts or checkout. The editor and staff enquiry inbox use separate authenticated access.

When you browse

Delivering a web page involves technical request information, such as an IP address, browser or device information, requested URL and request time. Our hosting and security services may process this information to deliver pages, maintain reliability and investigate errors or misuse.

The site is configured for Cloudflare Workers hosting with operational logging enabled. Cloudflare describes its own processing in its privacy policy. The exact records available depend on the hosting and security configuration.

Cookies and analytics

The public website does not currently include advertising pixels, third-party audience analytics, newsletter tracking or a marketing-cookie consent system. Fonts and book images are served as local site assets.

Hosting and security features can use technical cookies depending on the features enabled for the deployed website. We do not describe the site as completely cookie-free. Browser settings can be used to view or manage stored cookies.

When you contact us

Email links open your own email application with an editable draft. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it. Telephone links open a calling application. Those applications and providers have their own privacy practices.

If you contact Aavison, we receive the information you choose to share, which may include your name, professional contact details, school or organisation, and the details of your enquiry. We use it to respond, identify relevant learning materials or resource issues, and continue the related business conversation.

Service providers and records

Hosting, security, email and telephone providers may process information needed to provide their services. Enquiry correspondence may be retained while handling the request and maintaining related business records. This notice does not promise a fixed deletion period for records held in those services.

The current website contains no mechanism for selling visitor information or sending it to advertising platforms. If website features or processing practices change, this notice should be updated.

Information about learners

This public website does not offer learner accounts or request pupil profiles. For school and resource enquiries, share professional contact details and book information. Avoid sending identifiable learner records or personal financial information when a book title, chapter, page or description will explain the issue.

Questions and requests

To ask about information you have shared, or request a correction or deletion, contact office@aavisoneducation.com. Include enough context to identify the relevant enquiry. We may need to clarify the request and verify that it relates to your information before acting.

This notice is specific to the public website. It is not a description of every third-party service linked from a book, QR code or external resource. Review the notice for the service you use.

When you submit an enquiry

We collect the professional contact and school details you enter, the classes and subjects you specify, and your enquiry text to respond to your request. Enquiries are stored in our Cloudflare-hosted database and are available only to authorised staff through the protected inbox. Enquiry records are retained for up to 180 days; scheduled cleanup removes expired records. Please do not send pupil records or sensitive personal information.

We record aggregate counts of page visits, book views, catalogue downloads and completed enquiries. These counts do not use advertising cookies or store visitor identities. A short-lived hashed request-network bucket is used to limit misuse of the form. Your browser’s Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control preference disables optional usage measurement. We also collect aggregated LCP, INP and CLS performance measurements for the initial page visit, without browser-generated metric IDs or visitor profiles. Aggregate measurement records are retained for 90 days.
